Connect Annapolis Valley is a summer 2018 project that aims to connect the communities of Kentville and Wolfville via promotion of the Harvest Moon Trail.
Not only does this trail provide an opportunity for active transportation for the residents and visitors of these two communities, but it also allows for a more accessible connection between businesses, neighbours, and events.

Two simultaneous events were held on Saturday, July 14th, one in Kentville and one in Wolfville; each to which residents and visitors could attend by way of the bicycle using the Harvest Moon Trail.  In Kentville, from 11am-3pm, there was a Chalk Art Festival. Webster Street was closed to vehicles, and everyone – young and old – was able to take to the streets and exhibit their creativity with colourful chalk.  Music, food, friends and family – it was a day to remember!  At the same time, 11am-3pm,  reCYCLE,  Bike Art took place in Waterfront Park, Wolfville. Using recycled bike parts, people were brought together to create beautiful works of art, while increasing their personal bicycle literacy.  There was music, a lot of paint, and the opportunity to get excited about cycling in the Valley.
