We held the first annual Chalk Art Festival in Kentville, Nova Scotia on October 14th, 2017!
PBJ Design and the Town of Kentville opened Webster Street and Center Square for free-drawing chalk art. By the end of the event, the street was full of art, from over 400 pieces of chalk!
Art has a large impact on the community. By organizing an event that brings community members together to support artists and engage them in improving their communities, we see larger results than just the art pieces after completion of the event. Business have earned revenue, people are inclined to promote and return to the area, and they feel more connected in the places that they live in.
This year’s 2018 Chalk Art Festival was held on July 14th from 11am-3pm on Webster Street!
